David Horvitz: Newly Found Bas Jan Ader Film (Afterall Books / One Work) is a bootleg installment of the Afterall “One Work” series and was published for and as an extension of Horvitz's exhibition, (in all its different manifestations), held at 1708 Gallery in Richmond, VA from May 7–July 3, 2021. The book navigates Horvitz’s recent work, shares a story about authenticity and its institutions (or the other way around), and functions as an exhibition anchor and guide.

The editioned work was written by Ed Steck and designed by Brooks Heintzelman. The exhibition was curated by Park Myers.
