If You Meet Your Thesis on the Road, Kill It

This poster for my MFA fourth semester review visually references several of the things I’ve been thinking about in terms of design—working loosely, turning the paved “road” on its end, and playing with language and text. The decapitated Buddha statue, tilted askew, along with images of the guillotine, recall the origin phrase, about killing the Buddha if you meet him.
